The amount of the fee will depend on how close to the trek start date you cancel. Trek itinerary: The itinerary for the trek may be subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Health and fitness requirements: Trekking in the mountains can be physically demanding, so some agencies may require that you provide proof of your fitness level before booking. Additionally, some agencies may have minimum age requirements. Travel insurance: Many trekking agencies will require that you have travel insurance that covers trekking at high altitude. Responsibility: Most trekking agencies will require you to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks involved in trekking and stating that you are responsible for your own health and safety.
