Sundarijal Hike: Short Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (about 15 km) Start hiking from Sundarijal to Chisapani (about 8 km) Overnight stay in Chisapani
Day 2: Hike from Chisapani to Nagarkot (about 14 km) Overnight stay in Nagarkot
Day 3: Watch the sunrise from Nagarkot Hike back down to Sankhu (about 14 km) Drive back to Kathmandu

Water bottle: It's important to stay hydrated during the hike, so bring a reusable water bottle or hydration system. Snacks: Pack some lightweight, high-energy snacks such as trail mix, energy bars, or fruit to keep your energy levels up throughout the hike. Sun protection: Bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the strong Himalayan sun. Weather-appropriate clothing: Check the weather forecast before you go and dress accordingly. Layers are key as temperatures can vary throughout the day and with elevation changes. Comfortable hiking shoes or boots: Choose sturdy, comfortable shoes or boots with good traction for the steep, uneven terrain. Camera: Don't forget to bring a camera or smartphone to capture the stunning views along the way. First aid kit: It's always a good idea to carry a basic first aid kit with items such as band-aids, gauze, and antiseptic wipes.
