Gorilla Trek: Short Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda (or Entebbe, Uganda) and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to the national park where the gorilla trek will take place.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking day - Hike through the forest to track and observe gorillas in their natural habitat.
Day 4: Optional second gorilla trekking day (if permitted and arranged in advance).
Day 5: Return to Kigali (or Entebbe) for departure.

Hiking gear: Sturdy and comfortable hiking boots, long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and thick socks to protect against thorny vegetation and insects. Rain gear: A waterproof jacket, poncho, or raincoat, as rain is common in forested areas. Daypack: A small backpack to carry essentials such as water, snacks, a camera, and sunscreen. Water and snacks: Carry plenty of water and high-energy snacks to keep you hydrated and fueled during the trek. Insect repellent: Protect yourself from mosquitoes and other insects by bringing a reliable insect repellent. Camera and binoculars: Capture the incredible moments and bring binoculars for a better view of the gorillas and the surrounding wildlife. Protective clothing: Consider wearing lightweight, neutral-colored clothing to blend in with the surroundings and protect against scratches from vegetation.
